RESPONSIBILITIES:
--Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing, typing and copying.
--Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system (basic knowledge testing done at interview).
--A professional attitude and a customer service orientation that extends beyond customers to vendors and colleagues.
--Answers phones, so that office manager can focus on other tasks.
--Performs special duties related to area(s) of assignment such as preparing proposals, collecting files and perform research.
-- Learns and effectively performs/applies the proper account recordkeeping procedures and rules used in assigned area(s) including electronic systems.
--Ability to use problem solving skills to reach a goal i.e. you were given the task to get a part and all the boss has is the box that it came in 7 years ago. How and where would you start?
--Be able to work in a nonconventional method alongside the owner.
--The intent of this position is to assist the office manager and owner as needed.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES
--Can grasp files, documents and equipment with use of both hands.
--Can climb stairs daily to our office entrance; can climb up on step stool to reach files, printers, and related documents.
--Can occasionally squat and kneel to reach files and related documents.
--Can sit at a desk using near vision for long periods of time.
--Can work indoors in an office environment subject to heat/cold changes and fragrances, such as perfumes.
--Can type for long periods of time maintaining comfortability.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
-- High School Diploma.
-- Respect.
-- Proficient in MS Office programs (such as Excel, Word and Access), Email, Internet and basic office equipment (such as a scanner, fax, copy machine, multiple line phone, and multiple printer system)
-- The ability to coordinate between multiple staff and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
-- Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, organizational skills, both analytical and problem solving.
-- Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines under pressure.
-- Take direction and work independently when necessary.
-- Work quickly and accurately.
-- Ability to write articulately, clearly and accurately.
-- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


Wage: $10-14/Hour Dependent on experience
