Backen, Gillam & Kroeger Architects is currently seeking an Office Manager/Project Administrator for its Sausalito office.
The office manager must have experience working in the Design, Architecture, Engineering or Construction industry and experience in project administration and contracts.
Responsible for managing front desk and phone reception and a variety of office administrative support activities.
This position includes but is not limited to maintaining timely and accurate project information in Deltek Vision, administrative support to Architectural Operations Manager, Project Manager’s and Principals, such as maintaining project logs for a selected number of projects, preparing initial drafts of contracts for review, managing project close out procedures, coordinating client intake procedures, producing or creating Deltek project reports, as requested or required.
Maintaining office protocols, templates and public folders, and providing support on general office daily tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
● Understanding of basic accounting principles.
● Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
● Excellent communication and organizational skills.
● Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
● Expert computer skills, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc).
● Deltek Vision knowledge is strongly preferred.
● Basic understanding of plotting techniques and troubleshooting.
Minimum of four or more years of Design, Architecture, Engineering or Construction office experience.
